Lisa Olivia Munn grew up in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid is of Chinese heritage and was born in Vietnam. Her father Winston Barrett Munn is from an American family which has long-standing roots in the American South. Olivia was just 2 years old at the time her parents separated. The family now is run by her mother and stepfather. He's a United States Air Force soldier. While the family lived throughout the world, her principal home is Tokyo, Japan. During this time, Olivia participated in various local theatre productions. Later she became an Japanese model. Olivia, who had moved with her family to Los Angeles in order to fulfil her dream to be an actress was determined to pursue her goal after the family returned to America. After a few tiny roles on television series that featured Hawaii lenses (such like Beyond the Break), she was able to land the role of Mily Acuna. She was also offered the job of Rob Schneider's receptionist in Big Stan. The G4 podcasts include "The Daily Nut" along with "Formula D". She is a huge fan of surfing and has been practicing since watching the tv program Beyond the Break (2006). Also, she has black belts in Taekwondo. Her mother got married when she was only two years old to an Air Force official. Although the family moved around a often, the mother of her child raised her primarily in Tokyo in Japan, where she stayed with the military. Attended the University of Oklahoma, where she majored in journalism and minored in Japanese as well as dramatic arts.
